Senior Engineer @ VGW

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Poland and are currently looking for a Senior Engineer.

In this role, you will solve complex migration problems across varied game mechanics and architectures to help migrate existing games to our new platform, while supporting the broader Game Studio Enablement ecosystem.

In terms of our tech stack, we host our Docker containerised apps on AWS using EKS Kubernetes. In the containers, we run Kotlin with Spring Boot on the JVM, and TypeScript on Node.js with Fastify for our game math model servers. TypeScript runs our client side where it's mostly PixiJS with Spine and GSAP for game rendering.

• 5-7+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with strong core engineering fundamentals;
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript alongside solid frontend and backend development capabilities;
• Pixi.js experience is very desirable;
  
• Experience with Node.js and Fastify is highly preferred;
• Hands-on cloud experience, ideally using AWS ;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams and global time zones;
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows;
  
• Prior experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
