Finance & Asset Accountant

Trinetix is looking for Finance & Asset Accountant. You will join our solid team of professionals that are fully engaged in driving accounting services to our company.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, or economics. 

• At least 2-3 years of experience as an accountant or financial analyst. 

• Experience in fixed asset accounting, including asset depreciation, lifecycle management, inventory, condition evaluation, and tracking of low-value and fast-wearing items, with a preference for experience in IT companies or the tech sector. 

• Ability to organize effective asset management processes, including procurement, disposal, and sales of assets. 

• Experience working with accounting software (SAP, MS Business Central, or other ERP systems). 

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial analysis tools. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and ensure timely preparation of financial reports, while maintaining confidentiality, adhering to company policies, and quickly adapting to changes in processes. 

• Intermediate level of English 

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate records of all fixed assets, including hardware, software, office equipment, and other company assets. Ensuring data integrity in the accounting system and regularly updating asset records. 

• Conducting regular inventories of fixed assets to verify their presence and ensure their condition matches the records in the asset management system, while assessing the physical state of assets and making decisions regarding their repair, replacement, or disposal if they are obsolete or damaged. 

• Calculating depreciation for all fixed assets according to the company’s accounting policies and legal requirements.

• Collaborating closely with the procurement department to coordinate the processes of purchasing new fixed assets and managing the disposal or sale of assets that are no longer required.

• Analyzing existing asset management processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.

• Analysis and control of accounts receivable/payable related to the purchase/sale of non-current assets, inventory, and low-value items. 

• Working closely with IT and operations departments to coordinate asset management, share information, and ensure smooth company operations. 

• Preparing regular reports on fixed assets for the finance department and company management. Collaborating with auditors during internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all requirements. 

• Ensuring that the fixed asset accounting policies comply with international financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and the company’s internal policies.
