Copywriter for UX/UI Design Handbook

About us
We are a UX/UI design agency, working on a practical, no-nonsense Handbook for designers. At Cieden, we want to create a resource that genuinely helps product designers level up their skills. We’re looking for a copywriter who can dive in and help us make this Handbook something designers will actually use and appreciate.

* This is a full-time freelance position until the Handbook is fully written (approximately 5 months), with the potential for part-time collaboration afterward.
Responsibilities:
— Content creation: Write engaging and informative articles for our Handbook that match our tone of voice;
— Content enhancement: Integrate case studies, research findings, images, videos, and other useful resources and tools;
— Editing & proofreading: Review and refine content for clarity, logical flow, appropriate tone of voice, and error-free writing;
— Collaboration: Work closely with our graphic designer and UX/UI designer to create visuals that align with our brand style.
Our UX/UI designers, as subject matter experts, will provide the resources you’ll use to create the content. You’ll have the opportunity to consult with them to ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and insightful.
Workload: We expect you to write approximately 3,000 words per day.
Requirements:
— At least 3 years of experience in content writing, preferably within the IT or product design environment;
— Advanced English language skills;
— Proficiency in SEO, including keyword integration, understanding of content structure, and other search engine best practices;
— A solid understanding of what makes content valuable, and high-quality, and the ability to distinguish it from generic, low-value material;
— The ability to adapt tone and style to match our company’s voice;
— Exceptional editing and fact-checking skills and a keen eye for detail;
— Strong research skills;
— Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and the ability to humanize content and make it native-sounding.
