Beetroot Academy is on a mission to help people have great careers in the Digital Economy. We provide people with practical, intensive tech education and help them take the next step in their tech career, whether it is their first step or they’re advancing their career.

We’re looking for a  part-time Communications & PR Manager who is passionate about public communication, creating impactful content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll support two main areas:
1. Partner-driven initiatives to increase IT education access for vulnerable groups.
2. Our internal community of students, alumni, and educators — building visibility and engagement.

We’re looking for a person with:

First of all, we are looking for candidates with a lot of empathy, a non-hierarchical worldview, strong initiative, the ability to drive processes forward, and a belief in the power of education and our mission. Additionally, candidates should also have:

• At least 2 years of communications management, PR, or social media management.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Ready to travel within Ukraine, when necessary.
• Competency in digital applications such as Google Workspace.
• Desirable: experience with social projects.
• Desirable: English language proficiency B2+, ideally C1.

Responsibilities:

• Refining the communication strategy for scholarship projects (both to attract prospective students and to raise awareness about such projects).
• Together with team members, take responsibility for communication activities
• Maintain and monitor communication plans, post schedules, partnerships with local media, and NGOs
• Working with influencers to promote social projects
• Prepare the necessary presentation materials
• Develop communication report
